I don’t get all the fuss about Doom 3, I spent the last hour or a bit more playing it.
The graphics all darkish and all, and the game itself might be a bit scary if you play it at 4 am.
but i don’t really get what’s all the fuss is about.
I mean, it doesn’t look THAT good to be worth ALL that talking about it.
I think i was hanging out too much with the wrong gamers.
I need to find some good ol’ adventure game lover friends to hang out with.
Don’t get me wrong, i played and finished both Doom 1 and 2 at their time, but the games I remember left a good impression on me are Monkey Islands, Quests for glory, and the other lucasarts and sierra games.
I’m playing Space Quest 3 with Lee nowadays and it brings back memories.
