My work is frustrating me.
\nI had my weekly convertasion with my boss today and it was an hour full of complains about my work.
\nIrrelevant, stupid comments about stuff like the fonts i used in my documents that i write, and that I seem to not have read some of the documents before the meetings, which i have.
\nI was also deined the participation in a conferance about storage which I wanted to attend.
\nI am not the only one who feels stepped on in the company. There is talk about quitting. I know for sure one of the better programmers here, and one of my friends here is leaving in a month or two.
\nEver since the new VP of RND arrived at the company things been going downhill. I’ve seen it once too many, in one too many companies that no longer exists.<\/p>\n
This job was suppose to be a nice cushie job in a small company, and instead it have becase nerve wrecking, in a big company, plus, instead of promoting people, the company decided to hire a lot of managerial stuff who has no clue about the company’s product, have no experience in the company’s line of work, and some are pretty incompetant regardless.<\/p>\n
I fear I have no power over my work, and I havn’t spend too much time here in the company, so it will appear in my CV so i can leave before I find a new job.<\/p>\n
\nnow on to another story, one of my friends (who is one of the readers of this blog) had a huge fight with his wife and left home as a result. Thier fight was about… yes, you can guess.. about money.
\n99% of all fights end up with the money issues.<\/p>\n
Everything is about money issues.
\nIf i didn’t have money issues to begin with i wouldn’t work at this crappy job i have, right ?
\nAnd if money wasn’t an issue, i’m sure you’d be seeing more fun games out there, because then they’ll be making games that are good, rather then games that SELL good.<\/p>\n
\nI’m frustrated that i’m not one of those rich kids who’s parents are millionaires, nor that i’m one of those people who were at the right place at the right time and got tons of money, and not because they’re super talented or anything. I envy those people, and I wish i could just do whatever i want, and not be chained down and have this boring and worthless day time .<\/p>\n
