\nLast week I tried the two weeks trial of City of heroes, i missed out
\nof the last to days of my trial account on account of Lee fainting out.
\nHowever, I managed to get 12 days of fun game play, and gather some critique.<\/p>\n

First, the game itself is nice, but it’s a lot “yet another MMORPG”
\ngame. There weren’t too many game play elements that were new to me in
\nthis game, and even a lot of the game systems were less good then other
\ngames I’ve played.
\nThe chat system was really annoying, and i even think it’s the worse
\nchat system I saw in an ONLINE game, not counting Ballerium’s chat
\nsystem.
\nThe character creation section of the game was very elaborate, and in
\ngood terms too, after all, it’s a super hero game, you should be able
\nto make any kind of cool hero you want.
\nThe Quest system reminded me the one I devised when working on
\nBallerium, but it was much simpler and too constant. I designed and
\nprogrammer something FAR better then this.
\nAssaf M.(who also played the game) claims, and i agree, that
\nsuperheroes are suppose to battle supervillians, and not only stupid
\ngangsta mobs that roam around, and sometimes are way together then
\nsuper heroes, if their level is higher then the hero’s which is kind of
\nabsurd, I do have to say that the power balance of the game is pretty
\ngood, and that they really nailed it in terms of experience, and
\ntoughness, and grouping. Tasks forces (which are a one mission group)
\nwere a nice idea, but had problems in their implementation, because it
\nwould be frustrating to find a group that would play with you for 6
\nhours straight.
\nFlying, is awsome. I think every game should incorporate flying into
\nit. Playing CoH was just like in my dreams, where i’m flying.
\nAll in all i was a nice game to play, but i wouldn’t have paid money to play it.
\nSoon I’ll start playing World Of Warcraft, and I’m expecting I’ll be sucked in it real good.<\/p>\n
