I hope all of you enjoyed the Pool Party, i ment, all of you who attended.
For those who didn’t, here’s some pictures to show you how it really was !

I haven’t been blogging all to much lately.
I don’t have too many new things to write about.
Nothing new at work, other then we move to the triangular tower instead of the circular one.
Still working hard on my models, both the U.S.S. Voyager, and the Kazon mini ship.
I’ve finished a paper model of a star wars AT-AT, (what ? you don’t know what an AT-AT is ? Shame on you !) and i didn’t even find the time to take a few pictures of it and put on the web.
I havn’t been photographing a lot lately too. I used to take my camera to alot of occasions and now i do it less. Plus i don’t really travel lately so i don’t take my camera with me.
what I HAVE been doing, is playing Staw wars Galaxies until 4AM each day.
I’m very close to achieving the Master Droid Engineer proffession.
I like SWG a lot, and i’m REALLY addicted, whishing i didn’t have to work or go out of my house so i could play 24/7. but i can’t.
Don’t get me wrong, the fact that i wish i COULD play it 24/7, doesn’t mean that i would actually do it if it’d had the chance. I would take a few brakes to eat and shower. And maybe a few minutes now and then to spend with Lee.
Just like i do on weekends: I wake up, play, get hungy, play more, tell myself i’ll make food, play some more, get a headache for not eating, play even more, Lee calls, i tell her “yes yes.. i’m going to the swimming pool”, i continue playing another hour, i notice the time and that i’m an hour late for the pool, i play a bit more, then i go to the pool. I get back from the pool, check out what’s been going on in the game while i was in the pool, say: “I’m gonna take a shower”, keep playing for another 2 hours, notice that people who comes to see “Stargate” with us would be here in a few minutes, so i go to shower, i finish with the shower, people are already here, i ignore them and play a few minutes while they talk with Lee. We watch stargate. As soon as it’s over, even before they leave, i run the game, as it takes about 5 minutes to load, and i don’t want to waste any time on not playing. I play straight to 5AM, go to sleep, only to wake up at 9AM, so i can be at work at 9:30. I play until 10:00 and get to work at 10:30.

Apparantly he’s working on a new game. Adult Game. I’m very eager to buy that one.

A lot of new good looking (storywise) games are in development right now, and i can’t wait to play them all.
One of the models i’ve been buying a lot of recently in E-Bay havn’t arrived, and it’s been 3 months already.
I’ve contacted the guy who sent it to me, and after two weeks of discussion, he offered to refund me if it doesn’t arrive within a week. That was last week.
I was so over joyed to see I got refunded today, after having informing him yesterday that the bloody Reliant model still havn’t arrived.
It makes me feel that there are still honest pepole in the world. I mean, that guy doesn’t know me, and there are so many frauds going on out there. The fact that i didn’t fall for one, reassures me again, that kindness still exists out there somewhere, in Canada.

I often tend to worry about all sort of stuff. This time it’s diffrent. When health is involved my worries are worst.
Lee doesn’t feel so good lately. She’s been complaining about head aches and stomach trouble. She went to the doctor who made her take some blood samples. Apparantly she’s missing B12 and has a low red blood cells count. She had a doctor’s appointment tommorow to discuss the results.
When it comes to the health of people i love, i tend to get worried a lot.
I when to my parents today to exchange cars and ended up eating dinner. My sister arrived. She’s been having a rough time recently. Pressure at her studies, combined with other stuff like work, and she’s been fighting a lot with my parents. Especially my mom. I don’t really blame her, my mom, (and i’ve seen it, it’s not just my sister’s built up anger) automatically criticizes her in every move. instead of hello’s it’s: “Did you study for your exams ?”, “are you eating enough ?” “what’s the swelling on your hand ?” “you’ll die from nemek”
I usually tend not to get into the family fights when I can. They’re grown people, they can and should solve their communication problems. but that last part got me worried. When it comes to the health of people i love, i tend to get worried a lot.
After hearing them shout at each other for a while, my sister locked herself in what used to be my room, and now is the computer room (ironic…). i decided to let things cool down for a while, so i finished my dinner and asked my sister to let me in so i can say goodbye before i left.
We talked for a while. Her hand is really swollen, and it got me really worried. When it comes to the health of people i love, i tend to get worried a lot.
My fears are that she got infected with something, and i know how stuborn my sister can be. She needs to go see a doctor who needs to give her some medicatiion, antibiotics or something or it will get even worse. I hope she does that.
The thing that worries me most about health, is that there are so many deseases today, and you can easily get somehting bad in your system, and modern medicine don’t have all the answers, and stuff can get complicated.
I’m not a doctor myself, and it’s very hard for my with all the medical issues, because medical practice is not an exact science like the scientific disiplines i belive in.
A lot of stuff in medicine is empiric, and thus makes it’s practice very hard.
I hope for all the people i love and care about, won’t have any health problems.
Please take care of ourselves.

Instead of going to work today, I went to the Fan.con convention, which was very fun.
Met some old aquantances, saw some good episodes, movies, and clips.
And Laughed. A lot.
I needed a reminder of how Trekkie I am. Especially with all that “Star Wars” in my life lately.
At the evening, we enjoyed a “double date” with Ori and Ayelet, at 24 Rupie, the small indian place on southern Tel-aviv.
Ahhh.. i like chepa indian food.
Now i’m off to start playing my newly bought Star Wars: Galaxies game.
More TODO’s in my life right now, include my AT-AT paper model, and my mini-Voyager (lit) model. and another bunch of trek models i bought on eBay lately and just arrived.
I also bought an airbrush on eBay this week. Lets see when it arrives.
Now i need a good compressor. And cheap.

Starbase972 (Israeli Star Trek Fan Club) has decided to celebrate your birthday with a convention !
The convention is called Fan.Con and is all about fans, Trek-fans and other sci-fi/fantasy fans.
