Did you think i’d put ANY OTHER TITLE ???
Well. i’m not tired. i’m fatigued.
Work is starining, and i come back and have to go to the gym at least twice a week. three times usually.
My spare time during weekdays is usually spend alone.
Either at the gym, or at home playing the computer while Lee is asleep.
I don’t even play any online games not to feel lonely.
(i hope it will change with WoW)
Weekends are usually fun-ner. I get to spend time with Lee, and with friend who come over…(or this weekend we go to)
I wish i could efford myself working part time. 50% or something.
that way i’d have enough time for my enterprises (ship models and business). For instance, if i’d have enough time AND money, i would have tough myself Flash and made those stupid Buy A Car For Ron Gilbert mini-games i keep wanting to make.
And maybe start my own game company. Or maybe fix my resume enough so i can work for some foreign game compny. in US or Canada, or europe or whereever…

ahh… Fantasies….

I’m going to play KOTOR2 and sleep.

Phone kept ringing all day long while I was working, with someone. Couldn’t sit and work, but had to get so many “happy birthday” phone calls.
Oh, Thanks again – for those who called.
Then i went to my parents house.
Then i went to the gym (late)
Then i got back home at around 00:20
Then i sat here for an our instead of going to the shower.
Now (1:30), i’ll click on “Post” then go to the shower.
As far as i can tell, i’ll come back here and still won’t go to sleep but instead to something for another hour..
Will you wonder if tommorow’s post will be titles : “Tired !” ???

I feel this day, the day of my birth, was a whole big waste of time.

And telling you that i feel it’s just a reflection of my life won’t help.

28 wasted, 92 to go.

Technically, it’s tommorow, but a weekend is a nice time as ever to have a pseudo birthday party.
So, last night, we’ve called up our friends and some arrived.
Lee got me (yet again) a wonderful gift, and this time somthing i REALLY wanted for a long long while :

IT LOOKS SO GOOD !!
i’m going to be wearing them all throuhg the upcoming sci-fi convention at passover.

A few guys teamed up tpgether to buy me a copy of world of warcraft. which means that you’ll be hearing a lot about that game once i start playing. I’m planning on doing that in June, as with all the holidays, and trip out of the country i wouldn’t have too much time playing it, Plus i’m still playing SW:KOTOR2.

Other then that, Astrid mentioned that her present to me is drying at home, and she’ll bring it another time.. this sound really interesting. I wonder what she made me, and i’m sure that whatever it is, it’s unique.

Presents aside, it’s been a very unemotional birthday (technically it hasn’t been yet…). I care less about the birthday itself, and while finding myself having to remind people that it’s my birthday, i don’t make a big deal out of it.
I’ve changed.
It used to be one of the most important days for me, and for some reason – it’s not.

i don’t understand why it’s like that recently, but people tend to want to flee our house, last week when we watched Return of the Jedi, the second the credits went up, it was like POOF! and everyone ran away, no lengthy goodbyes, nothing. just ran while interrupting us watching the credits.
I hate it.
I hate it when people just vanish, that they spent 4 hours talking having fun, and watching 2 hour movie, and then, don’t stay the most important 5 minutes of the whole meeting : the end of it.. where you debate the movie you saw, where you chat about stuff before you go, where you see some of the DVD’s SPECIAL FEATURES !!

This happen again yesterday, when Ofir said they’re leaving because he’s tired, everybody else took the oppurtunity and bailed out. Dissapeared. vanished. poof. guests no more.
Except for Idan, which stayed up because he had something to talk to me about.
Idan is also one of the people who vanishes first ususally, but this time he had something he needed to get off his chest….


Also, Assaf M. said he’s being sent E3 -the largest game expo in the world, which i’ve been to once, and I envy him. I want to go there myself…

But i partly accept my unfortunate fate that made me what i am today, careerwise.

No, i wasn’t fired, And don’t worry – I don’t plan on getting fired.

I did however manager to scare the hell out of Lee, and get Amnon frustrated, angry, and annoyed.
Then i laughed and laughed and laughed again.
I’m getting better at pulliing legs on April’s fool.

I should spend some time in writing some work of fiction….

They say “history repeating”. Yet again i managed to get myself fired over some stupid fight with my boss.

Ever since I started working, my boss (ex boss) complained that i don’t get to work on time. Apparantly when i specifically asked him if there are flexible working hours, and he said yes, he ment (and later he explained it to me) that a working day starts at 9:30 or earlier and end way after 18:30. the flexibility is that i can work as much as i want more with them needing to pay me overtime.
How flexible is that for the company, huh ?
Making me work 9-12 hours a day and pay me only for 9….

So i get to work every day at 10:00-10:30. One reason is that my car isn’t allowed to be on the road between 6:00 and 9:00. So i can’t leave my house befoer that, and i ususally leave my house at around 9:10-9:15. Take into account the traffic in Herzelia Pituah, and i don’t get any early then 10:00.

Today, i had to go to Misrad hapnim to get my Passport renewed. That’s a whole long story about how i waited in line for two hours, because i was told, after bothering to ask 3 times , (at least), that you get your passport done on the spot, so i decided to wait and get it over with. Apprantly, you only get it on the spot if you’re a resident of Herzelia (!!!). And i’ve waited two long hours for NOTHING !!!

So i get to my work at around 12:30, and the guys went to lunch at a resteraunt called Jacko . It’s a fish resteraunt, and i had a very nice Musht (How’s it called in english ???) fish. I might have swalloed a bone because my throat hurts.

Anyways, i come back from lunch, at around 13:30, and my boss calls me for a “talk”.
I know that way of speaking.
It’s like your girlfriend telling you “We have to talk”
You know you’re done for.
He takes me into one of the meeting rooms, and tells me that today was the last straw, and that it’s bad that i get in too late, and that they tried giving me a chance, and after two months of stubonness the VP of RnD thinks my attitude is too careless and i’m not to be trusted.
I was given a grace period and i’ll come take my belongings on Sunday…

Well… it’s time to start looking for a new job.
Any one knows any openings for a programmer ?

I’m utterly swamped.
I have TOO much i need to accomplish, and SO LITTLE time to do it.


on my way home, i began with a list of at least 13 things i’d like done by the end of today.
Now being almost 23:00, and having done about 3 of them (one being posting the last two posts), i fear i’ll never accomplish what i want in time.

For example, I wanted to eat dinner, bake a cake from the strawberries i bought today before the go all rotten, play some KOTOR2 before i go to sleep, watch something on TV, update my Wish list, post stuff in my blog, take care of some MBA registrations i need done, answer my emails, check my homepages, and work on the lecture i’m gonna give during the Starbase 972 Passover convention.

Now, i’ll go do 2 thing : eat dinner and watch TV.

*sigh*

I’m never gonna make it…
If only i didn’t have to literally SPEND so much time at work.
Other then the fact that i get money each month, work is a complete waste of time.

You’ve got about a week and a half left till my birthday.
I don’t really beilve in buying presents for a person just because it’s his or her birthday. I belive in buying people you like presents all throughout the year. I bought some people some presents this year in the middle of the year. regardless of when’s their birthdays.

If you don’t know what to get me, i’ve updated and re-prioritized my amazon wish list.
Feel free to go through it, and only buy me ZONE 1 ENGLISH DVD’s and not some Israeli hebrew crap that looks bad and have fucking hebrew menus. And that the start is in the other side of the windows. That’s just stupid AND annoying.
Fucking Microsoft Israel.

Anyways, I’ve had enough hearing about Tim Buckley and Ron Gilbert talk about World of Warcraft.
Either you buy it, or i’ll buy it.

As far as i know and can remember, I got 2 or 3 measly presents last year. and only 2 worthwhile ones.
And i only got 1 non birthday present too. Thanks for the onions Ofir !

And I don’t consider presents for you’d buy for Lee’s birthday. as good birthday presents for me.
